Mark Posted 9 September 2004 Posted 9 September 2004 difficult to say really, he`ll go into the squad I would think, depends on his match fitness really, 17924 Why does it? Adams has a thing for playing unfit players. He'll start for sure.
King Kyle lcfc Posted 9 September 2004 Posted 9 September 2004 I'm not really clued up bout Kevin Harper i no he's bin round for abit on the fringes. so how old is he. He plays right back/ Midfield dont he more importantly is he any good
Mark Posted 9 September 2004 Posted 9 September 2004 He is 28 and hasnt been a regular for any club except Hibs where he started out as a player from 1993-1998. He then moved to Derby where he was mostly used as a sub.
Wellman Posted 9 September 2004 Posted 9 September 2004 What number is he going to get??? Hopefully 7
dan_84 Posted 9 September 2004 Posted 9 September 2004 does this mean adams is dropping scowcroft? or just putting him on the left? if thats the case harper will see very little of the ball coz instead of walker kicking it long and out to the right he'l just do it to the left. lets get the ball down and pass the bloody thing around. we'v got the players to do it!!!!

Buzzell Posted 9 September 2004 Posted 9 September 2004 Unless Scowy is up front! Whhhhhhhooooooooooooo goals galore!!
Mark Posted 12 September 2004 Posted 12 September 2004 He was talking on the radio yesterday before the game, and said he doesnt want to stay any longer than a month unless we can offer him a permanent deal and then he'd consider it.
Cat Burger Posted 12 September 2004 Posted 12 September 2004 You can't argue with that, it's not like he's going to be kissing the badge and giving the fans false hope like Bent did. I appreciate his honesty.
spirefox Posted 12 September 2004 Posted 12 September 2004 Watching Harper yesterday made me realise just how bad Gillespie and Canero are
Anish Posted 12 September 2004 Posted 12 September 2004 Watching Harper yesterday made me realise just how bad Gillespie and Canero are 18465 I know that Gillespie has been pretty dire since he came here, but I think Canero is a really good prospect if given the opportunity. He did really well at the end of last season and didn't do much wrong in his recent performances - admittedly he wasn't particularly great either. I think he could change a few people's minds about him.
davieG Posted 12 September 2004 Posted 12 September 2004 Watching Harper yesterday made me realise just how bad Gillespie and Canero are 18465 MA's has always stated that Canero was signed as a RB, he only played RM last season in an attempt to get fit. So comparing Harper as a winger to Canero is, well unfair
spirefox Posted 12 September 2004 Posted 12 September 2004 Point taken its not fair to judge Canero yet but how long are we stuck with Gillespie?
davieG Posted 12 September 2004 Posted 12 September 2004 Point taken its not fair to judge Canero yet but how long are we stuck with Gillespie? 18479 Ah Gillespie now that's a different story, where should I start, errrr what a waste of a talent.............nah forget it it's all be said before.
Ash Posted 12 September 2004 Posted 12 September 2004 Harper played good , seems good and confident when running with the ball , Set up the first goal too

I would prefer to have Makin right back because he looks a more composed player who will distribute/cross the ball more effectively. Canero is primarily a wing back, where he's played with Kilmarnock for the past few seasons.

spirefox Posted 12 September 2004 Posted 12 September 2004 Does Mad Biker know how much it would cost to sign him?
