cisono Posted 21 October 2005 Posted 21 October 2005 One Hour Ticket Giveaway Leicester City fans have until 5pm today (Friday) to enter or exclusive competition to win a pair of tickets for Sunday's Championship clash against Coventry City at the Walkers Stadium. Is there much point paying £1.50 when a ticket costs £10 and the chances of winning are probably rather slim? What do you reckon?

Matt Posted 21 October 2005 Posted 21 October 2005 Someone from the club could leave a whole batch of tickets in the middle of the city doubt hardly any would go!
CasinoGee Posted 21 October 2005 Posted 21 October 2005 If it's giving you club money then you shouldn't feel ripped off.

(I certainly didn't) Personally, I was just saying I didn't feel tempted to participate in the giveaway... And I think the fans are already doing a lot to support the club anyway (by buying tickets, merchandise and generally investing their energy in the club).

I suspect you would have a very, very good chance of winning, the cynic in me thinks that this is a way of filling the ground with give-aways with out it being tooooooooooo obvious
Hitesh Posted 21 October 2005 Posted 21 October 2005 How is it a giveaway if you have to spend money in the first place??

Phil Posted 21 October 2005 Posted 21 October 2005 it is very tempting to watch Coventry do well twice in one week
