That came much later though as a sort of piss take when the media (mostly BBC Liverpool love in when it all started in full swing) associated it with just the 'loveable' Anfield Kop - I'm guessing they were the first to sing it (or was it Celtic ??). It was a generic song back then and morphed into the clapping version (not unique to us). Walk on, clap clap Walk on, clap clap With Hope, clap clap In your heart, clap clap And you'll ne...., clap clap ...ver walk, clap clap Again, clap clap etc etc… Hope in your heart was often replaced with Soap up your arse

If it was repeated every gave it would lose its meaning and heart felt passion and just be something that we did. The song will still get regular airings anyway so the love will still be shown. After that game v man u, 'stand up if you love Leicester' never felt the same or caught on the same and became something only certain sections of the ground did. In fact the only time it felt anything near like it did back then was v Southampton in the Premier league winning season but just as it was catching on they had a dangerous attack and it died out.
