oxford blue Posted 15 January 2020 Posted 15 January 2020 The Times reports(sorry I don't have access to online edition) that there are further calls for Taylor to step down from his position as chief executive of the PFA. The Charity Commission have started a 'statutory enquiry' into the PFA charity arm (after their earlier compliance case) to examine 'serious concerns' about the organisation. Taylor (who is 75) agreed to step down from his £2.3 million a year position last March when concerns first went to the Charity Commission. Further background here: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/feb/16/gordon-taylor-salary-four-times-benevolent-grants-former-players-pfa £2.3 million - I do wonder what he does each day to justify his salary. Also surprising a 75 year old is still in charge, although I can understand he may be reluctant to give this up!
