Cobbo Posted 15 September 2004 Posted 15 September 2004 It's away at Fulham. City team: Conrad Logan, James Wesolowski, Peter Canero, Alan Sheehan, Richard Stearman, Joey Gudjonsson, Keith Gillespie, Scot Gemmill, Tommy Wright, Trevor Benjamin, Aarran Butcher Subs: Chris O'Grady, Stephen Dawson, Tomi Petrescu, Scott Lycett, Levi Porter Dawson dropped to the bench to give some senior players a run out...Unless he has a knock I think that's unfair on the lad who has impressed in every reserve game this season. At least Pearmain and McGavigan aren't playing
Ric Flair Posted 15 September 2004 Posted 15 September 2004 That's dissapointing, pleased to see Blake not there though. I had a feeling he would be and that would be horrible. Doesn't look a very good defence, it looks like Canero will be playing centre back and Wesolowski at right back! He's a midfielder! Shocked to see Dawson dropped, i'd be intrigued to know the reason behind this.
natas Posted 15 September 2004 Posted 15 September 2004 wesolowski can play anywhere but, so its not that suprising.
Scow Posted 15 September 2004 Posted 15 September 2004 Very disappointed Dawson is not playing - As Cobbo said, he's been the most impressive player this season for the reserves. Bit of a strange line up - Wesolowski might play left wing, with Gillespie on right, Butcher and Gudjonsson in the centre, with Gemmill possibly at right back..... Billy McKinklay plays for the Fulham reserves, he'll probably show our players what we're missing.
Mark Posted 15 September 2004 Posted 15 September 2004 Wesolowski will play right back, he played there towards the end of last season for the reserves if i remember correctly He should be in midfield though. Dawson a sub, thats just ridiculous. He's better than Gemmil and Gudjonsson put together on current form
davieG Posted 15 September 2004 Posted 15 September 2004 Shocked to see Dawson dropped, i'd be intrigued to know the reason behind this. 19158 It would be nice to think it's because MAs plans to use him on saturday. I know, I Know well I can dream can't I
Mark Posted 15 September 2004 Posted 15 September 2004 He needs to be sent out on loan. He'll be 19 soon and now he's sitting on the bench for our reserves when he's been the best player this season for them!
desert fox Posted 15 September 2004 Posted 15 September 2004 Steed Malbranque will play his first match of the season for Fulham tonight.
Ric Flair Posted 15 September 2004 Posted 15 September 2004 He needs to be sent out on loan. He'll be 19 soon and now he's sitting on the bench for our reserves when he's been the best player this season for them! 19193 I don't want him to go out on loan, even though it will do him the world of good he needs to be in our team. He has played a blinder so far this season including pre-season and Micky has taken note of this. But, I think it's entirely unfair Gemmill and Gudjonsson have been put in the reserves ahead of him. I can understand why, but it's unfair. These two need games to get their fitness up, and while they do this I think Dawson should be on the bench for the first team. At the end of the day, if he continues to play well for the reserves which he will do, he'll get his chance he has got to. Shirtliff will keep having a word in Adams ear, the same with Stearman. Hopefully in the cup they'll be given their chance.
Ash Posted 15 September 2004 Posted 15 September 2004 Im glad to see Gudjonsson playing , i was worried he was injured
Guest Daniel Posted 15 September 2004 Posted 15 September 2004 I wouldnt care if he was injured, he's not too good at all.

Guest Daniel Posted 15 September 2004 Posted 15 September 2004 Thats awful. What a terrible report, why dont LCFc take you in the press box for reserves games Petrescu?
Mark Posted 15 September 2004 Posted 15 September 2004 I'm not a good writer but i could certainly do a better job than that effort of 3 sentences
