Doubt if many are alive from 1961.

Richie Norman, Frank McClintock, Colin Appleton, Howard Riley, Hugh McIlmoyle are still alive from 1961.

Does anybody know how good was Revie was as a player? I was always led to believe him missing from the final (due to injury) was a problem for us.

 

Obviously the Wolves team at that time were good. Billy Wright was in that team.

My old man always said he was a cracking player. Also my dad played for Leicester Amateurs at the time and Revie used to come and help to coach them in his spare time. Had nothing but good things to say about him.

He's here in the 1956 Cup final playing for Man City.
