Of course it shouldn't be, however the majority of voters who may have been toying with a vote for the Greens, will more and more start to see them as a bit of a single issue party (a left wing Reform, but with a different single issue). Unfortunately that single issue is no longer climate change but Gaza / Palestine, and most British voters I suspect either don't care enough or are frankly bored of the subject (no judgement), and have it so far down their list of priorities when it comes to actively voting for a party (in fact it is more likely to appear in the negative column), as to render the Greens as completely irrelevant.

Was my first full season. I was only 8 or 9 but remember watching it all play out standing on a wooden box my late father had made for me, so I was tall enough to see the action in the family stand in front of the old main stand. Still a very vivid early football memory.

A Rolls Royce of a centre back. One of my early favourite players. The silence from the Premier League since this all came out has been deafening and points to me that punishments have been agreed, but with the furore over the whole subject, maybe some caution as to the public reaction that they just won't be enough. The max I can see happening being a points deduction that guarantees relegation, transfer window restrictions, big fine and if they have the power being disallowed to qualify for European competition for a few years. All stuff that will be short term and which within a handful of years at the most, will see them back to where they are now.

Tbh it would help if Samuels didn't allegedly have such a close relationship with the Abu Dhabi regime and Man City, as everything he writes on this subject now has to be treated with a raised eyebrow and a degree of cynicism. On us however he has generally been decent.

I honestly think Xmas is being optimistic and by the time we do sack him, Challoner will have come back into management elsewhere and we'll champion the appointment of Liam Manning. Bearing in mind that Topkin have had a boner for Martin for many years, no way they are going to admit this early in his appointment that they have made a mistake. Makes them look like morons. Although tbf with the amount of shit appointments they've made in the last few years, you'd think that even with the distinct lack of self awareness that they have, that even they would have realised that they are actually ****ing morons by now. Or maybe not.

Why give him a couple more games? It's inevitable this isn't going to work and never was from the start. He's gonna get the sack eventually this season, so no point waiting any longer.
