Evans & Vardy have been exemplary stalwarts,  but it should objectively be obvious that both positions need substantive signings to take over these key positions. Any other approach is simply nieve.

We need some leaders on the pitch. Performances like that shit earlier happen too often and it shouldn't be allowed to happen. I have to question even our more experienced at times.

Firstly, Evans isn't finished and doesn't actually miss many matches in reality. Is there a better experienced centre half out there available? Can you name him?

Secondly, most teams in the Premiership would crave the sort of centre half or forward you would like but they are in short supply and realistically, there aren't the finances to buy them let alone those players actually wanting to come to Leicester. As for centre halves though, which one's of our three are you actually wanting to ditch? Fofana is a world class prospect and Soyuncu, who everyone was raving about last season, has only looked flawed since Rodgers has consistently asked him to do a job he's not comfortable in ie, extreme left of three covering the left back position at times. Evans is noticeable when absent and is the ideal tutor to the two others, Idon't think you could wish for better, in fact I'd suggest that at at this moment in time, there isn't another Premiership side whose defence he wouldn't enhance. Sometimes it's not the players, it's the tactics employed by the manager and the round peg square holes they're being asked to fill. Sometimes out of necessity through injury but oftentimes overhinking and ineptness.
