Hi Guys,

 

I am curious if anyone could give me a layman explanation of how streams work. Well actually more, what causes them to suddenly break, or need buffering, or just stop working. What are the causes of this?

Im not sure there is a science behind streaking. Just whip your kit off and run

Depends, are you talking about viewing a stream or making one?  If it's the former it's probably just connectivity issues, if it's the latter it could still be that but could also be something to do with your cpu straining with the workload of encoding all your data.  Not that I'm by any means an expert on this but generally a faster, higher core cpu is desirable afaik.
