It really confused me no midlands ground was suggested, FA claim the grounds that were picked were the only stadiums that offered to take part. Birmingham may have have difficult due to the commonwealth games going on aswell, but nearby cities could have been used like Meadow Lane Nottingham, which has hosted England womens internationals in the past.
