I still feel there was a lot of very good players acquired by Everton whilst he was there, the manager in place at the time was not up to the task of building a team as he had become a journey man at that time.

I do like ol’ Walshy, deffo been scapegoated to a degree.

 

In an alternative universe Everton are a Champions League side and an unnamed Icelandic midfielder isn’t a naughty man.

Ranieri wanted Mendy the year we won the league, Walsh insisted on Kante instead. Thankfully sense prevailed.
 

The following year Ranieri signed Mendy.  
 

I don’t think Mendy is a bad player either his performances at AFCON will get him a club come summer

Any player going to Russia is fake news.   There will be economic meltdown there if this Ukraine situtation continues.   Chelski might encounter some issues going forward.  May be Maria gets black listed.......

Transfer window is closed now anyway, but an Everton player has still joined CSKA
