Witcher Next Gen Update

Looks like the next gen update for the Witcher 3 has been scrapped.

 

I feel empty! I've been looking forward to this remaster ever since I bought the Series X. Devastating!

They are still working on it although it is currently postponed and is due beyond the Q2 release window originally stated.

Would be a second nail in the coffin for cdpr, guess they've had to put everything in to fixing cyberpunk and this has suffered as a result.

I replayed it around January and it holds up pretty well to be fair.  If you've not played it, I wouldn't let the next-gen update hold you back.

To be fair, I played it through again when I got the Series X and it was incredible. Understand that they need to focus on Cyberpunk and then I guess it's full steam ahead for Witcher 4. They've got to rebuild their rep after Cyberpunk (which tbf I still thought was great) and I suppose a Witcher 3 nextgen update would be an unwelcome distraction right now.
