Hi Everyone,

Just got a ticket to the foxes cup, play on the pitch event that's happening next week. Has anyone done this before? What was it like, how was it all set?

Did you park at the ground on the day?

Anyone else going this year?

Thanks all,

Paul Reynolds

Strange really The Junior Cup is age 5-14, And then the Foxes Cup is Over 18. So what happens to those aged 15-17?

You’ll never win anything with kids

Ps how do you enter the junior cup? Would love to get my boy involved here

They have to be a junior fox member and buy tickets on THEIR account otherwise the event won’t show. I got the email yesterday for my lad, clicked the link but was signed into MY account so I accidentally booked myself onto the adult foxes cup team for 4pm 😂

Glad I realised because he’d be gutted if I’d missed out on getting him the opportunity to walk on the pitch. I’ll email the ticket office today to get my ticket cancelled so somebody else can  take my place.

Great idea from the club, really am looking forward to seeing the little bugger on that pitch.

It’s sold out now for the kiddies. Shame. Great idea though letting young uns play on it and laying this on for them.

id love to play on the KP turf but it’s have to be 11 a side for me. Banging in a goal in a small 7 a side net across the pitch doesn’t quite cut it for me

Years ago I broke my own personal rule and answered a withheld number on my phone. Turned out it was Jim from LCFC and somehow I had entered a competition and somehow won a place to play on the pitch in a fans fixture. Thank god I answered that phone.

the home team was Coached by Mauchlin and Walsh, the “away” was By Elliott and I think Ewan Roberts?? Memory has faded.

either way it was 11 a side in the full pitch, we were given kits which we were supposed to return but funnily enough, I think most, if not all of them got… lost.

We did the whole tunnel line up, walk out to Post Horn Gallop, handshakes etc, the teams were up on the scoreboard etc.

we ended up playing 40min each way and in the second half it became 14 a side as the coaches came in along with each teams 12th man/sub.

It was fantastic. If you get the opportunity to play, drop everything and take it. Especially if, like me, you’re crap at football so you’ll never play on a professional pitch through actual footballing merit.

I'm going, the itinerary came through today. Sounds like it's going to be a great day. Says Leicester legends will be there, I wonder who it'll be, I guess Walsh, Elliot and Taggart as they seem to be around the club often. If big Emile is there I'll be proper star struck!

Can take up to 3 spectators with you, parking in car park B.
