I think we’re a way off dire straits unless we go down, the debt is likely manageable for now in the PL
 

If the sustainability model is the desired approach what lies ahead is a smaller squad with a lower wage bill. 
 

The board gambled with the clubs future and bought into Rodgers without a backup plan, they hoped he would buy unfinished gems and turn them into polished diamonds to sell one every season for a kings ransom, instead he bought in coal on high wages. 
 

Sorry Top, you’re going to need to find a way to balance the books via equity or sell the club to someone that has the means to do so.

Very true and I really think they expected one of " the big six " to poach our false Napoleon and pay us big compensation. In spite of all the crap in the rags that was never going to happen , not after Liverpool. Let's just hope they have learned their lesson.

It's appalling what he and Rudkin have done to the squad. I think you've hit the nail on the head with this post. I just wanted to add that any players that were showing promise have been destroyed by BR, but he's mates with Susan so more of the same madness will follow.
