Walshy

Am i the only one thinking we should get Walshy in to replace Micky? I know he is inexperienced but he is a Leicester legend and if he doesn't get the lads feeling passionate about Leicester City then i don't know who could.....

I would love to see Walshy back at Leicester, but not as manager. He has no experience and has been out the game awhile.

I'd love to see him as coach.

Bring Walshy back? So eveyone on this forum can rip him to pieces as well!!! No thanks...I respect him too much! Coaching would be good...but that is all I think. He might inject a bit of spirit into this club.

I read earlier that Rogers was a bad thing for this club. Perhaps yes on the pitch...but in the dressing room he was well respected and well known for playing pranks and creating some comradship...something that is severely lacking right now! As evidenced by the fact that our players don't seem to care and don't seem to play for each other.

I would love to see Walshy here, but as coach for a while then when he is experianced enough, get him as manager.

silver fox r u trying to say you want Alan Rogers back because he couldn't play football for the club but pissed around in the changing room for the whole time he was here. Wots even more worrying is his name comes up in a discussion about future city managers. lol

As I've said a few times before, PLEASE don't asky for Walshy (known to his mates as Walla, by the way) to come back as manager... I used to play pool with him a few years back, and he's a nice enough chap, but he's NOT manager material. Not at all. No way. Maybe have him as a coach, but even then I'm not sure he's the man to raise club morale. He's not universally known as being the most reliable of characters to have behind the scenes as far as unity goes, especially if you have a pretty blonde wife/daughter..... if you know what I mean! No, i'm not suggesting we bring him back...I am suggesting that we need some team spirit and comradship in the dressing room...all the good teams have it. Its called, 'being a team'

We certainly need someone with a bit of passion :( But Walsh would be such a risk he has no experience managing despite how nice it would be having someone managing us that actually cares.

Walshy to come back yes but not as manager I think it would be a disaster personally I think he would make a great coach or assistant, my choice for manager would be Gary McAllister, Steve Claridge or Tony Cottee I know it would be a gamble but these guys know what this club is all about but they also have their heads screwed on and have played and learnt under some terrific managers, give them the right back room team and I think we would be onto a winner.

No thanks to Tony Cottee. He nearly destroyed Barnet. Got them relegated to the conference after being in a comfortable position in the league midway through the season...

I don't think Walsh is management material either.

From what I understand, he's not talking to Elliott at the minute, so that's not going to help the team spirit much!
