I know we can still get relegated, but personally think we won't. We still have enough games against teams around us to say it's still in our hands.

But to my main point, I'm just hoping this has taught Top a lesson. Unlike some I do think his heart is with the club and is the right person going forward. Yes after all that's happened ( the death of his father and covid) I do think he took his eye off the ball.

He trusted Rodgers and so did many on here. But gave him to much freedom thinking he was safe hands. Let's now hope he's learnt from this.

He needs to rebuild what Pearson built. Fitness, medical and recruitment staff. Then any incoming manager is told they are the people they have to work with. Clear the awful players out and stop paying huge wages out of loyalty to people that have been highly paid when 100% but not any longer.

SW needs to sort herself out as I'm sure she is a very good CEO. But it's a football club not M&S.

Rudkin for me is out of his depth and needs to walk or be sacked. No he doesn't pick the players we buy, but he does agree the fee and awards the wage contracts. So taking it he doesn't run to Top to agree everything, his performance is about 30% of what the club needs.

Is that confirmed anywhere?

Other club bosses have said they negotiate with Susan on terms.

Regarding Top, I feel what happened was akin to that lady who used to be on dragons den, she took her eye of the ball, then the company was only saved from collapse due to peter jones taking it on.  We will find out over the coming year or two if he really is still interested, if he does a rebuild or more of doing the minimal to keep it going. (I think there is a chance he will even sell).

I'm not sure the family would want to sell because of Viachi and the memory.

Unless KP finances are really bad.

But let's hope if they do it's to someone that cares and not just in it for a reward.

My understanding of a DoF job at other clubs.

If you're correct WTF does Rudkin do.

Might put my name down if the job comes up.

If the club is put up for sale then it becomes a crap shoot as to how the new owners handle the club. We saw Americans buy Burnley and then load them up with debt. For me I would very much like to see Top and his family keep the club but keep a tighter rein on what happens at the club.
