davieG Posted 22 September 2004 Posted 22 September 2004 From the OS Trio Feature In Reserve Clash Matt Elliott, Matt Heath and Tommy Wright have all been named in Peter Shirtliff's side for the FA Premier Reserve League South fixture against Charlton Athletic at Kettering Town FC on Wednesday night (ko 7pm). Elliott takes part in his first action since undergoing a knee operation during the summer, while Heath (pictured) will be hoping to get some much needed match minutes under his belt after recovering from a hamstring injury. Wright, meanwhile, will be hoping to continue his goalscoring run that has seen him reap three goals in four games for the second string. The reserves go into the game looking for their first win after registering one draw and three defeats in their opening four matches. The game will be played at Rockingham Road, home of Kettering Town FC. Please note that all FA Premier Reserve League South home fixtures will take place at Kettering Town until the turn of the year. Highlights from the encounter will be available on Leicester City World from noon on Thursday. A match report from the contest will be published at 10pm on the night of the game. Subs: Louis Dodds, Adam Wykes, Scott Lycett, James Wesolowski, Ricky Muggleton.
Scow Posted 22 September 2004 Posted 22 September 2004 City: Conrad Logan, Richard Stearman, AlanSheehan, Matthew Elliott, Matthew Heath, Stephen Dawson, Tomi Petrescu, Aarron Butcher, Tommy Wright, Chris O'Grady, Levi Porter. Logan Heath / Stearman / Elliott / Sheehan O'Grady / Butcher / Dawson / Porter Petrescu / Wright ------------------------------------------ I'm really liking that line up. Midfield and attack looks very promising, especially with Petrescu playing behind Wright.
Ric Flair Posted 22 September 2004 Posted 22 September 2004 Would love to go tonight, possily would of done if it was at the walkers, but getting to Kettering would be tricky for me. Shame. Is anyone going? I think a full-match report would be interesting, see how Petrescu, O'Grady and Porter are coming along. Petrescu mate, why don't you go? Go on, you know you want to.

Mark Posted 22 September 2004 Posted 22 September 2004 Thats a good team. Liking that. Thank god Petrescu has finally got a start. He should be up front but he could well be on the right wing with O'Grady up there with Wright.
