I moved south-West years ago. Used to go to every home match at Filbert Street and naively thought that I could latch onto one of the nearby clubs and get the same fix. How wrong I was. Went to Eastville, boring, went to Ashton Gate, boring. It just left me cold, disinterested and home sick. Obviously didn't understand how far LCFC was in my soul. Started going back to see family on the weekends that City were playing (they sussed me out!). Eventually just got a season ticket when my lad was old enough to go and have been doing the 145 mile (each way) trip for home games ever since. Once a City fan.... and all that.

I think it happens to a lot of people, watching my team in Europe was a dream come true and I loved the tours, I’ve had a season ticket since 94 and I’ve kind of made up my mind that I’m not renewing it after this season, one of the main reasons is work (4 on 4 off) VAR has sucked out a lot of the enjoyment for me (assuming we get promoted) I’ve started going to the riders with my daughter which we really enjoy and I’ve been getting my football fix from doing the non league circuit something better about watching a game with a beer in your hand.

I moved to US a few years ago, and gave mine up, then came back, got a season ticket and then moved to Bahrain, I got back over a year ago and luckily had enough for another season ticket.

 

I dont live in Leicester, and lately im not enjoying the 'crack' with travel, costs and shitty football.  Im tempted to give it up again.
