They get some funding from them, Michael Wyatt the Lib Dem councillor has previously attempted to get it reduced and ultimately stopped but the proposal was rejected.
I presume this time he has managed to get it through so the funding has been stopped or greatly reduced.

No they have just resigned from the league, very weird
