BDCR is 0% effective at defending so even a reluctant defender like Mavididi is better. As for Ayew, did you watch him allow centre back Nathan Collins to run forward and past him uncontested on Friday? He literally couldn’t be arsed. TBH I think there’s an argument to be had that Ayew is a good super-sub but I see nothing in BDCR to back up his ‘fine squad player’ status.

I'm trying my hardest here okay 😭

Actually, as embarassing as Ayew is. Look at Soumare, that lack of work in a midfield 2 is a massive reason we concede so many.

Watch Soumare at 28 seconds. Embarrassing. He doesn’t know what to do, doesn’t carry on and close down to help but floats about offering nothing.  He plays football like my little dog chasing a ball.

Every week he stinks out the team and causes a lot of problems.

Pretty sure the 4 points he got in the first two games included Mcateer and Facundo also no Faes.

As we know the prem is full of pace and players that have high fitness levels, starting the two above gives you exactly that, having BDCR and Ayew starting is like committing suicide esp with 37 year old Jamie Vardy on his own up top.

Daka should get more game time and Mav is just shot of confidence and doesn't work well with Kristensen who is well out of his depth as well, I would start Thomas.

You can understand Vardy but playing the other two donkeys, there is no valid reason.  The experience excuse doesn’t wash, especially as they are players at the tail end of a career where they peaked achieving very little.

You will never convince anyone that BDCR is effective as it’s not backed up by either the eye test or the stats test. He looks ineffective and the analysis as outlined in the Mercury article backs that eye test up! Whether it’s a crisis in confidence or age catching him up I don’t know. Fulham fans liked him but it just hasn’t happened here from pre season onwards.

Tbh a high number of them look as if they are unfit and to make matters worse they look totally disinterested and couldn't give a monkey's. Their attitude is appalling and every bit as bad as under Rodgers.
Actually fitness and attitudes seem to have declined ever since we moved away from Belvoir Drive to that luxury outfit and spa at Seagrave. I don't see any improvement in fitness or recovery rates ever since we moved there. Looks more like a holiday camp than a serious training facility.

Let´s see if they waste a few more thousand taking them to the Alps for a week pre-season. Perhaps they should go back to the sand hills of the Jock Wallace era.

I suggest Bradgate Park.
