You do realise that by admitting to supporting City nearly 40 years ago and still going(?)You run the risk of being culled as you are too old and taking seats from younger fans!

I doubt the ones talking about getting kicked out are the problem.  It's the moaning upper tier South stand types that sat on their hands then and do now.

Yes, there were a few riots back then.

I remember being beat at home Vs Norwich 83 4-1 and there was a riot after the game, disturbances vs Poet Vale in 91 and the famous MON riot in 96

I'm not condoning any of it but when you think had sedentary we are now it's another world .

Not forgetting the streaker!

Some people do mature as they age and some have probably replaced former South Stand types. Originals will probably be long gone.

It was December 1981,  a snowy day at Oldham. Others were throwing snowballs so I joined in, missing their keeper by a couple of yards. Two of Lancashire´s finest escorted me out of the ground.

Before the game we were outside the ground listening to Jim Melrose chatting to some Scottish pals. When one asked if he was playing, he replied "Am I ****". That was because, I think, it was the first time that Gary Lineker played down the middle.  Before that he had always been on the right wing (insert obvious joke)

I've only ejected myself from a match after around 86 minutes to avoid the traffic chaos on Freemen's Common.

FM so you're already behind the 85 minuters - what a mistake

Port vale was a nasty place, if its the game I'm thinking it was a midweek match ....as the train was pulling we were greeted by bottles n bricks and getting attacked from every angle . Inside the vale park was pretty tasty as well . Pretty sure we won 2-0 with rooster getting a couple i think....I'm actually amazed i remember all this , cant remember what i had for dinner last night lol

I was thinking of the home game where there were disturbances over Pleat.

Away I was there in 1990 I think it was and there was trouble in the home stand - Not sure if the baby squad had infiltrated on that occasion but it went off

The Baseball Ground many years ago. Weirdly a sold out away end but pay on the gate in the home ends!

If I remember rightly it was quite a cold and misty day and was quite a hairy walk back to the train station.

Got back to Leicester just in time to look in the window of a TV showroom to see the final scores coming in and that City had won 2 1. Think Walshy might have got the winner.

Thats the game im talking about lol
