It’s matchday and Run 18 completed of this year’s Prostate United where  I am running 5.25km every day throughout October as part of Team Leicester City 🦊 to raise money and awareness for Prostate Cancer UK

 

Prostate Cancer affects in 1 in 8 men and takes a life every 45 minutes so it’s critical that we keep raising money and awareness.

Today was a tough one, the legs were heavy and weary but it’s done and another one chalked off …..just the dozen to go now 😅

A couple of milestones today firstly Run 20 completed of this year’s Prostate United where I am running 5.25km every day throughout October as part of Team Leicester City 🦊 to raise money and awareness for Prostate Cancer UK and secondly that is the 100km mark smashed with this mornings run.

 

The legs are really starting to feel it now but only 11 more to go now and knowing it’s for such a great cause keeps the mind and body motivated to keep pushing.

Happy Friday, the weekend is near and Run 24 is complete of this year’s Prostate United where I am running 5.25km every day throughout October as part of Team Leicester City 🦊 to raise money and awareness for Prostate Cancer UK 

 

The legs are heavy and weary, I am knackered but the determination and desire to complete these last 7 runs are as strong as ever. 

 

Prostate Cancer affects in 1 in 8 men and takes a life every 45 minutes so it’s critical that we keep raising money and awareness. Too many families are losing Grandads, Dads, uncles, sons, brothers, cousins and nephews, people losing mates, this disease impacts so many people in so many ways. 
 

So please please please donate to help raise for vital funds for testing programmes, treatments and research. Every little bit helps.

So far I have racked up 85 miles and raised over £3,350 for this amazing cause. I have 4 more early morning runs and then my final run of the challenge which is going to be a brilliant way to finish this years challenge.
