The 27-year-old is out of contract in the summer and he could be on his way out of the club in the January transfer window. "We have withdrawn our offer to Joe Simunic and are now looking around for a new defender," said Berlin's general manager Dieter Hoeness. Hertha will seek a buyer for Simunic next month rather than losing him on a free transfer in the summer.
