This was the day we faced Man Utd at Filbert St and lost  thereby confirming relegation in our last season at Filbert St. Spontaneously ,despite losing, part way thru the game the whole ground started singing in spite of the now confirmed relegation. TV cameras were there that day and it was quite a sight to see given our predicament and future in the Championship having been decided. Just shows that when we see a team that is trying, even though we were crap, the fans will always get behind the team. Can you imagine the same happening during our last home game this season - exactly. What have we become. Never has the phrase "you're not fit to wear the shirt" been more apt.

This is a great example to show how this club has been dismantled.

The club and it's entire supporter culture.

Seriously sad

Memories of that match are the Utd supporters chanting Down in ten minutes, you're going down in ten minutes.

To which the Kop replied, Dead in ten minutes, you'll all be dead in ten minutes.

That shut them up.

Hmm... I think your memory is being slightly selective.

Martin O'Neill's book has loads of rants about our fans being extremely negative - even when things were going well.

The last game at Filbert Street was ruined for me because a guy behind me dedicated the whole match to giving Muzzy Izzet abuse, because he was expected to be leaving after the relegation. I had a go back at him at one point... a grown man being told to shut up by a kid aged about 15!

Similarly, in one of the Champion's League games there was a fan constantly on Mahrez's back for being "greedy". The most skilful player we've ever had, playing at a stage he was instrumental in getting us to. Unbelievable...

The only period of real success is when they drowned out the moaning with clackers :D
