Matt Posted 6 January 2006 Posted 6 January 2006 Anyone heard much of his new album? I have heard "Break The Night With Colour" which I really like, and "Cry Till The Morning". Wouldn't go as far as Chris Martin and say he is "the greatest singer in the world" but he is a great musician! Can't wait till his albums released!

Northern Soul is still in my top 5 Best Albums of all time and probably always will be Oasis Verve  Can't believe it's 10 years old

SuperMark Posted 13 January 2006 Posted 13 January 2006 Yeah, his new single (break the night with colour) is great. I'll certainly be getting the album! I've already got all of the Verve albums, maybe it's time for me to check out Ashcroft's solo back catalogue too.
Nationwider Posted 13 January 2006 Posted 13 January 2006 He's a grumpy sod. But he's made some great music and is a bit of an icon.
