lush Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 In the latest post match press conference, craig once again emphasized the problem why things arnt going our way. He said "the players, sometimes their confidence gets affected, especially the younger players". Couple that with the headline, its a fair point, that whilst hes trying to build a core base on which to take our club forward in years to come, theres always the risk that younger heads struggle to understand then cope with a bad run. We all know weve got some pottetially collective great talent, its THIS season that it needs to gell, and it just doesnt happen over night. Weve seen some fabulous football at times, and then on occassion, lack of experience lets us down. For those of you who have lost some faith, please bare in mind the above. Craig is not going anywhere it seems, so i suggest we all collectively back craig, for atleast the immediate future.

Jon the Hat Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 Good god... i'm truely shocked to say this but Lush I agree with you. Me too. Still think he should go, but I don't think he will now, so lets hope he can prove me wrong for the rest of the season. I believe we have seen before how a cup result can change a season. Wycombe anyone?

I still have some concerns over his use of 4-5-1, his tactical awareness/nous and his ability to motivate his players for the games against smaller sides, but seeing as he's seemingly going nowhere, I just pray that he can turn this round. I have to admit though, it's more in hope than expectation!
Onion Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 The thing is if we can beat Spurs then we should be able to beat any team in the Championship. Lets hope that Leicester can play with the same urgency & determination (as showed against Sheff Utd) against the poorer, less attractive sides in the league - Like they did yesturday. Leicester City wanted to win against Tottenham/Sheffield Utd.

I was hoping for a change but we're not going to get it so lets get behind the team and the manager and try and have faith that he can pull us out of this mess. I'm certainly a lot more optimistic after last night. If we're going to change anything now it has to be in the summer so CL has still got half a season to show us why we should keep faith in him and I for one would much rather see hime turn it around because it means the team will be getting results.
lush Posted 9 January 2006 Author Posted 9 January 2006 I still have some concerns over his ability to motivate his players for the games against smaller sides. Do we not think his motivational aspects are the same for all games? Every game is about winning, because he knows we have the ability to do so. Onion "Lets hope that Leicester can play with the same urgency & determination (as showed against Sheff Utd) against the poorer, less attractive sides in the league" Were capable of thrashing some teams in the championship.
