Key word though Mr Mistress is NOW. Not before the beginning of last season as you have been preaching. 4) Personally I hope he stays but I don't think he will. Once the popular support goes, the writing is on the wall. Chance for Bassett to do it again. 5) Rather be a brown nose than a ..........

Cobbo Posted 4 October 2004 Posted 4 October 2004 One thing I think we can take from the game is that Elliott looked decent. That's about it.

Anish Posted 4 October 2004 Posted 4 October 2004 Hullfox, it does seem strange that the majority of fans now accept that MA is not good enough and want him out, and yet you still persist in your blind faith. How can you still support the manager after everything that has happened this season? And spare me the insults of your previous post (about me saying MA talks garbage).
Ash Posted 5 October 2004 Posted 5 October 2004 I think its its the end of Mickys career as Leicester manager , we need a someone new But Micky would go with respect

How can you still support the manager after everything that has happened this season? And spare me the insults of your previous post (about me saying MA talks garbage). 24365[/snapback] Mr Anish I would refer you to points no.d 3 and 4 of my post. Quite clearly I say he is going. In the previous post you refer to I also say that Mickey is going and I say the club quite clearly have problems. Just because I like what the guy has done for the club does not mean it's blind faith. I'd like him to stay because I think he would turn it around. It's clear he won't have that chance but that's life. The club will survive without him. After three managers have walked out on us, then we had to endure Bassett and Peter Taylor, is it any suprise that I like the guy, at least he's remained loyal despite his faults which is more than some of the fans on here have done. Everyone knows that it is a results business so he is not living up to the expectations of many fans including me. I just hope that when Bassett takes over he gets your support. And whilst we're on, maybe you could actually explain to me what is okay about you stating that Mickey Adam's is talking garbage but when i say that you are talking garbage you take umbrage and say it's an insult? All I did was use your words.
Guest Posted 5 October 2004 Posted 5 October 2004 It's very easy to remain loyal when you are one of the highest paid managers in a division.

Ikon_Klow Posted 5 October 2004 Posted 5 October 2004 Im with Hullfox. I accept the Micky's time has probably come to an end. I don't mind watching a team that performs badly providing I feel that the players are giving it all and that they generally care. This season and some of last season the players have looked dis-organised and totally un-motivated. I am also sad about Keown. He would be a good captain and a good leader. I do however accept that if he is mouthing off then he should be diciplined. There are some fans of LCFC awho are bigots and have no real idea of actually happens behind close doors at a football club. What Mickey achieved during the administration was nothing short of a miracle. The debt the club was in was mind boggling. The directors should have been struck off for thier negligence and had it not been a football club the company would have been put down and laid to rest. The very fact that we have spent money this year is an achievement in its self. Mr Davies has done an amazing job and deserves praise and so does Mickey for keeping together on the pitch. However, despite all this I beleive that it is time for a change and time for new ideas. Mickey will not go quietly. He is on good money and the club can not afford to sack him. Further getting a quality replacement will cost money, again money that the club cannot afford. If Mickey does leave then he goes with my full respect and thanks as a loyal fan of LCFC. He helped save this club and that should never be forgotton. I hope that all of you out there who are calling for his blood appreciate this simple fact. Regards Ikon

If he was that good, he would have walked out by now.
SilverFox Posted 5 October 2004 Posted 5 October 2004 I can take one good thing from yesterday... Connolly got married so at least we know he Scored last night!!!
Anish Posted 5 October 2004 Posted 5 October 2004 Unless his 'shooting' off the pitch is just as bad as his shooting on the pitch!
Guest Daniel Posted 5 October 2004 Posted 5 October 2004 This thread leads off the point into dirty unfunny humour. Sad really, getting worse than the club.
