Gené and Tonic Posted 17 January 2006 Share Posted 17 January 2006 From BBC Sport http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ted/4620772.stm Aussie midfielder set for Leeds Griffiths made his debut for Australia last year Leeds have agreed terms with Swiss club Neuchatel Xamex to bring Australia midfielder Joel Griffiths to Elland Road, reports BBC Radio Leeds. It is hoped a deal can be completed in time for the 26-year-old to be available for Saturday's match against Sheffield Wednesday. Griffiths' previous clubs were Sydney United, Parramatta Power and Newcastle United in Australia's NSL. He made his international debut against Jamaica in October 2005. If he's good enough for Leeds he was certainly good enough for us.
