More Levein drivel

Craig Levein says he felt disappointed for the travelling fans following his side's 1-0 defeat at the hands of Plymouth on Tuesday night.

Over 500 Leicester supporters made the 500 mile round trip to the south coast for the Championship fixture.

But the Foxes would leave empty handed - meaning it is now 10 league games on the spin since a win.

Speaking after the game, Levein said: "We had a great following down here tonight again but we haven't done enough to win the match for them. That is disappointing.

"You are just looking for something to go your way and we certainly didn't get that tonight. We have been beaten by a wonder goal for the third game on the trot and we had two good shouts for a penalty - one of which was a certainty.

"We had a good opportunity to get out of the bottom three tonight, but it looks like it is going to be a long hard slog.

"We hadn't kept a clean sheet for something like 11 matches before tonight and we were looking at a worse case scenario of coming away from here with a clean sheet ahead of the game and seeing if we could nick something.

"We had loads of the ball in the second half but we didn't really cause them enough problems. We had a couple of chances, but not enough to say we peppered their goal.

"It's difficult at this moment in time. A lot of the things that the players tried tonight didn't come off and that is just a lack of confidence. That happens at times.

"You see a lot of young faces when you look around the dressing room and it is difficult for them to cope with the pressures - although you could argue that Richard Stearman and James Wesolowski were two of our better players.

"We huffed and puffed and we competed but we lacked guile in the final third of the park. There is no doubt about that."

I was'nt expecting him to come out with that <_<

We huffed and puffed?? Were the three little pigs there or something? Well our house has well and truly been blown down!

Who was the 'Guile' fellow who should have been in the final third but wasn't? Maybe he could play in the next game and score a wonder goal for us.

I'm sorry but I can only find comfort in humour, however bad it might be.

Chin up everyone (a new signing from the far east perhaps - oh there I go again!)

Change the f***king record Craig - chatting utter bollocks again.

The thing I DETEST about Levein now is his f***ing post match interviews. No character, no passion, typified by our performance.

People said how Levein was an honest bloke and all that but he talks complete bollocks week in week out. He never sees the same game as any of us.

And he's far too comfortable with the losing feeling. It doesn't hurt him to lose. It's killing all the fans to see us lose every game but for Levein it's just another day at the office. This is gut-wrenching stuff Levein, accept that you've f**ked up and f**k off!!!

I can't say I'm surprised by those comments. Have to agree with Anish about Levein's attitude to losing - it just isn't good enough.

We've lost 6 in a row, and have only won once in 14 games - can anyone defend that?

Speaking after the game, Levein said: "We had a great following down here tonight again but we haven't done enough to win the match for them. That is disappointing.

But how can you win with 1 decent striker, one average and a attacking midfielder that isnt playing well?

"You are just looking for something to go your way and we certainly didn't get that tonight.

YOU, have to make it happen, YOU!!

We have been beaten by a wonder goal for the third game on the trot

But if you play defensive football, and then give free kicks away in crucial positions, or dont defend the sheff wed chance, then YOUR asking for trouble.

"We had a good opportunity to get out of the bottom three tonight, but it looks like it is going to be a long hard slog.

Thats been the case for months now

"We hadn't kept a clean sheet for something like 11 matches before tonight and we were looking at a worse case scenario of coming away from here with a clean sheet ahead of the game and seeing if we could nick something.

Defensive and defeatist attitude.

"We had loads of the ball in the second half but we didn't really cause them enough problems. We had a couple of chances, but not enough to say we peppered their goal.

Then play better players like hume smith and hammond....is this guy on cociane?

"It's difficult at this moment in time. A lot of the things that the players tried tonight didn't come off and that is just a lack of confidence.

Thats because YOU, havnt instilled confidence in the team, especially when you play donkey`s like kisnorbits and lumps.

"We huffed and puffed

...but you could not blow plymouths house down.

we competed but we lacked guile in the final third of the park. There is no doubt about that."

I agree, so play someone with skill.

I don't mean this in any way flippantly but it is quite obvious to me that, in football terms, Levein just doesn't understand what makes a team tick. Why would anyone in his position select a side like that and play like that in a game you've got to win?. Our team needs balancing properly and moulding together properly.
