werestandingup_weresittingdown Posted 26 January 2006 Posted 26 January 2006 is it me or were the birds singing louder and the sun shining brighter this morning???!!!! Maybe i exaggerate but my god do i feel better about LCFC today. I feel a weight has been lifted from the club. NEVER have I been so happy about a manager leaving, and that includes PT. We may now have a chance of avoiding the dreaded drop but I have to say a lot of the responsibility must now fall on the players. Leveins negative ways and influence are now gone, i just hope the players now pick up the mantle and do the leicester fans, who turn out in great numbers even in the most dire circumstances, proud. I just hope now they get someone in to the end of the season who can motivate the lads. The next long term appointment could well be the most important in our history with pretty much (barring a promotion under MA) the last 3 appointments being disasters. I feel almost proud again of the club, its a weird feeling, something that Leveins reign just started to ebb away at. Loss after loss, gutless performance after gutless performance. I now just want to get to every game, sing my heart out and support the boys in what is going to be a hard run in. I was starting to feel like i didnt want to do that anymore with levein around. Looking at the fixture list its going to be hard, but we may now just have a chance of doing it. Craig levein has gone, craig levein has gone, eeee-iiiiii-adio craig levein has gone!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully we may also never see kisnorbo or hamill wearing a leicester shirt again. or maybe that might be a bit too much to hope for!!!
Babylon Posted 26 January 2006 Posted 26 January 2006 Yeah lets all celebrate the fact we are in the bottom three.
Thracian Posted 26 January 2006 Posted 26 January 2006 Yeah lets all celebrate the fact we are in the bottom three. I'll certainly celebrate my belief that there's some hope the situation might improve now. I still think the board left their decision too late. But even if they have I'd sooner someone else managed us in division one than cop-out Craig.
LCFC UK Posted 26 January 2006 Posted 26 January 2006 Hopefully we may also never see kisnorbo or hamill wearing a leicester shirt again. or maybe that might be a bit too much to hope for!!! Now thats just wishful thinking!
andyh1884 Posted 26 January 2006 Posted 26 January 2006 I just hope he hasn't left his little black book of after-match excuses in the drawer of his desk for Kelly or whoever to find.

We've sacked our poor manager, which is nothing to be happy about. We have no money to bring in a decent replacement. Were 22nd in the league. Your more then likely going to see Kisnorbo in the team on Saturday as well. Whats to be happy about.
Darth Fox Posted 26 January 2006 Posted 26 January 2006 Yes what a lovely January day and a nice burns day yesterday. Healthy Chips and Haggis for dinner topped off by switching sky sports news on for the good news. I even smiled when I heard Leveins arrogant leaving speech trying to take credit if this team ever amounts to anything.

I know i thought he could have left with a bit more decency - his statement was a joke and i bet he did not even write it (PR)
Katy Posted 26 January 2006 Posted 26 January 2006 I know i thought he could have left with a bit more decency - his statement was a joke and i bet he did not even write it (PR) I agree with you to a certain extent. He still didnt accept any responsibility for our position and he still believed he could turn it around. I would like to ask him when exactly he thought this was going to happen

We can be happy because we now have something thats been missing for a long time...Hope! We might still get relegated but under CL I think it was a certainty and not a maybe.

Whats to be happy about??? Are you mad??? We now have a chance of staying up. We did not have this chance under levein. Of course there is F'in reason to be happy. 'we've sacked our poor manager, which is nothing to be happy about'. Would it have made you happy if he'd stayed???
