Tommeh Posted 31 January 2006 Posted 31 January 2006 Just imagine a win against wolves on Sat, i never thought we'd win v QPR Wolves is now a huge game and another must win match
Teeno Posted 31 January 2006 Posted 31 January 2006 Ever game from now on is massive, but it isn't huge. We'll still be allright if we lose against wolves, and even the one after that, but the more wins the better
Janx Posted 31 January 2006 Posted 31 January 2006 Ever game from now on is massive, but it isn't huge. We'll still be allright if we lose against wolves, and even the one after that, but the more wins the better Wolves have got Aliadiere as well he looked tasty a couple of seasons ago, noty sure now, but I reckon his pace could be a REAL issue on Satdy
Tommeh Posted 31 January 2006 Author Posted 31 January 2006 Hopefully the players have confidence back and the crowd can get right behind them
DaveyJ Posted 31 January 2006 Posted 31 January 2006 Massive we really need a home win, especially against Wolves who are doing quite well, it would be a huge boost.
City_4_Life Posted 31 January 2006 Posted 31 January 2006 I would say the Brighton game will be bigger, that will be a 6 point relegation battle.
Tommeh Posted 31 January 2006 Author Posted 31 January 2006 Massive we really need a home win, especially against Wolves who are doing quite well, it would be a huge boost. Could even take us above Derby and Hull and sheff wed
Mark Posted 31 January 2006 Posted 31 January 2006 Back to back wins is essential to survival, we've managed it once under Levein in well over a year, at the end of last season where there was no pressure. The only way we're going manage it is no more disruption, Kelly needs to be given this game. If he isn't there should be an outrage.
The Reverend Posted 31 January 2006 Posted 31 January 2006 Wolves have got Aliadiere as well he looked tasty a couple of seasons ago, noty sure now, but I reckon his pace could be a REAL issue on Satdy Saw him a few time- never thought he was that quick!
Tommeh Posted 31 January 2006 Author Posted 31 January 2006 I would say the Brighton game will be bigger, that will be a 6 point relegation battle. Agreed, getting my tickets tomorrow and i can't wait
fox123 Posted 31 January 2006 Posted 31 January 2006 Ever game from now on is massive, but it isn't huge. We'll still be allright if we lose against wolves, and even the one after that, but the more wins the better i dont think thats right attitude more u loose the lower the morale, a win against wolves would be massive not only in terms of the 3 points but the whole atmosphere around the club, tonight is a massive confidence booster that we need but i think beating wolves would give the team more confidence to build on, not only until the end of this season but going into next!!!
Janx Posted 31 January 2006 Posted 31 January 2006 Saw him a few time- never thought he was that quick! he likes to do jinky mazey runs though the middle doesnt he?
Babylon Posted 31 January 2006 Posted 31 January 2006 If Wolves is big.... what's Brighton???????????
Flemmish Posted 31 January 2006 Posted 31 January 2006 Too be honest every game is important, and we cannot really afford to lose too many games now. Its important we win Saturday to keep this the momentum going.
Tommeh Posted 31 January 2006 Author Posted 31 January 2006 Too be honest every game is important, and we cannot really afford to lose too many games now. Its important we win Saturday to keep this the momentum going. Mementum- the magic word
Shrew Posted 31 January 2006 Posted 31 January 2006 Could even take us above Derby and Hull and sheff wed mmm tasty thought being back above those ram raiders!! haha
andyh1884 Posted 31 January 2006 Posted 31 January 2006 I saw wolves play cov at new year and they were piss-poor, even scored both goals for the sky blue scum. I think they're beatable if we can get stuck into them
Ricey Posted 31 January 2006 Posted 31 January 2006 I'm booking my tickets in a minute. I really can't wait, I haven't felt this excited to go see CITY for a long time.
DaveyJ Posted 31 January 2006 Posted 31 January 2006 If Wolves is big.... what's Brighton??????????? HuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuGE
Chimp Posted 1 February 2006 Posted 1 February 2006 Just imagine a win against wolves on Sat, i never thought we'd win v QPR Wolves is now a huge game and another must win match The Brighton game is bigger hence the reason why a good performance, as you say, in front of the home crowd vs Wolves is important. The team have just got a feeling of what it's like to win again, this is something which they must be able to take with them to Brighton.
