Well... here's my initial thoughts on today.

As mentioned early... I've got Cardiff already to beat Barnsley and I do fancy Chopra to score. Personally I've backed Cardiff to win 2-0, but we'll see. Got (as near as ) evens on Cardiff just for the win, too.

Horseracing.

2 picks for me at Catterick today. Haven't backed yet as the odds aren't favourable.

3.30 Catterick - In Dreams. I fancy this to place at least. Only at 7s at the moment though and it's a decent-ish field.

2.25 Catterick - Milan Deux Mille. I expect this to WIN. Having said that, I think it's quite well fancied. It has Milan in the title too... Best I've seen is 3/1 and has closed in most places to 5/2 already. Will have a look later.

My outside pick (prob just for fun) is....

4.25 Wolverhampton - Fancy You. Should be able to get 25/1 on this. E/W bet only.

Any thoughts folks?

How did you get on at poker then mate?

Not great to be honest. I went on tilt after a bad beat! I was up by about £300 and then lost a hand I should have won (costing me about £70) and after that I made some silly moves as I failed to control my emotions! I ended up about £100 up which is great but I feel like I lost £200 as thats what I had in my bankroll at one stage.

Anyway, i`ll get them today :rolleyes::rolleyes:

Just signed up to betfair, not got a clue what I'm doing!

Not for me - like the traditional bookies, i know there are obvious benfits for laying and all that but give me a simple bet on a horse i want to win/place anyday!

I don't usually sign up to these kind of things but i backed that Wizard Of Edge yestarday for a few quid, and signed up.

Sh it, I should have put as a caveat that this season, I've won hardly anything on football :P

Huge tip today was given to me by a realiable source (I know this bloke whose cousin makes out with horses for porno purposes :D ) and he tells me that the trainer told him that this horse will win. BTW, the horse has never starred in any of those bestiality movies. He plans to when he retires.

I've just had a good result.

Thought I'd posted my bets on here... but can't find them now.

1.35 at Punchestown, had both Orbit'ogold and Holly Tree to place. Both were fairly big outsiders... but did place. So I'm qujids in.

Been a good few days for me.

Have another couple of bets on for today... my only real 'surprise' pick though is an e/w bet on Adopted Hero in the 3 30 at Musselburgh. Not sure the going will suit but would hope to see the horse figure at the post.
