Disillusioned Posted 4 March 2006 Posted 4 March 2006 Im not going to reiterate myself, I can't spell I dont care, this a football forum not a spelling and grammar test, and seeing as you know nothing about the sport your the thick one as far as im concerned. When exactly did I have my nose wedged up Leveins botty, please find examples, if you can indeed detach yourself from mickys botty and get youself back up the M 69 without getting MA withdrawl symptons. The fact of the matter ss you dont care to pass comment on Rob Kelly, as this time around any judgement you make can be looked back on. Unlike your claims that you knew Taylor/Levein would fail and O'Neil/Adams (very much based on opinion) would succed. Now that your fortune telling abiltys are being put to the test you cower away. Or alrternatley you can tell me if Kelly will succead if he takes the job long term and show some balls. Your memory is almost as bad as your grammar and spelling which in turn are almost as bad as your logic. 1. Sorry Mr Pablo I never claimed to have foreseen any of MON'S success's. 2. Same with Adams. What I did say though was that it would be a disaster if he was forced out. 3. I did not oppose Levein's appointment. Given what we knew of the candidates at the time he appeared on paper at least to have been the best of a bad bunch. By the turn of 2005 it was obvious he was a bullshitter and suggested the board terminate his appointment in the close season. Arseholes like you thought fighting relegation dogfights was an improvement on Adams' record. 4. I knew Taylor was wrong because I knew a lot about him. Far too much was made of his 17 match unbeatedn run with the Under 21's (mainly friendlies and qualifiers). LCFC didn't seem to care that the FA actually relieved Taylor of his Under 21 coaching duties. When I give a prediction it is based on knowledge and observation not on clairvoyance. As it will probably take you the better part of 48 hours to work out what this means I suggest you fook off. Otherwise sonny I will be forced to give you a good slap (and I guarantee you won't feel happy).
Guest Posted 4 March 2006 Posted 4 March 2006 Right you can join Lisa and get your nose wedged up Levein's botty... FFS, get your facts right before making insinuations.
AyewJoking Posted 4 March 2006 Posted 4 March 2006 I would like to ask whether fans thought, "Oh no! what are you doing you idiot" when Taylor first signed all those players for big money. Maybe they decided he wasted it AFTER things turned sour. Personally I thought, well we are an established Premiership club so its about time we started to splash the cash. It turns out I was wrong. Taylor did ruin this club and we have suffered big time but things arent THAT bad. We survived administration and I'd say we are still better than most clubs in this league. I wont forgive Taylor for what he did but I prefer to concentrate on the present rather than hold a grudge which doesnt achieve anything.
Newcastle_Fox Posted 4 March 2006 Posted 4 March 2006 Give The Knob Jockey Twat Lots Of Abuse Today From Me For Ruining A Awesome Stable Leicester Side & Buying Shite for high prices and on long contracts. So wish I was going today instead of being up her in Newcastle doing my dissertation

Muz Posted 4 March 2006 Posted 4 March 2006 So, what worrit like? He got a fair amount of stick , not enough for my liking though
Michael Doyle Posted 7 March 2006 Posted 7 March 2006 1. Taylor might be grim, arrogant and unimaginative but he's no con man. He was simply out of his depth and refused to admit it. 2. One away defeat and you've gone off Kelly already?(!) I think that Rob has already earned the freedom of the city by saving us from Division One (which many posters here and elsewhere had perversely reconciled themselves to - 'Bovered? Bovered? Look at my face! LOOK AT MY FACE! I'm NOT bovered!). I think we should wait till the end of the season and see how the run-in goes. It's worth noting that the much vaunted 'up and coming' types wouldn't touch us with a barge pole at the moment. 3. MON could have taken us much further IF HE HAD REALLY WANTED TO (Heskey and Collymore together for a full season). He was already off club hunting in his first season in the Prem. MON bore grudges like no one I've ever known. 4. Whilst his egregious personality rubbed many players up the wrong way the main problem with them was their greed. 5. So if we were 5th now and it all went tits up would that Kelly a villain? Why do you say Taylor did not have much choice in making Beckham England captain? Crewe, Millwall and Brighon look doomed to me. The Championship IS a lower division. 1. Some one who applies for a job well out of his depth is a con man to me. 2. Umm.....Read my question again and you will see that its you that suggests I have gone of Kelly. I have done no such thing. However my question still remains unanswered. It appears Manwell Pablos post indicating that your sitting on the fence is quite true. Just answer the question with the knowledge you have so that we can truly see your excellent predicting talents. 3. If only Collymore could put a full season in without stuffing something up. To say MON bore grudges like no one you have ever known I assume is away from the football club because whilst there were issues with the board and him I doubt that if he wanted that he would have stayed at LCFC even with 27 million in the bank and a new stadium. He done the club proud and it was time for him to move on. Something I wouldn't deny the best manager Leicester had since I have been supporting the team the chance of doing. By the way one of the grudges he could have is with the fans that booed him early on in his reign. Where you one of these people? 4. What would you do if you were offered 30K a week and was told your brilliant and were to get a % of a 5million transfer fee? 5. Now's the time for a reality check! We are not 5th and Kelly has saved are arse! Beckham was the only real choice and the Championship is not as low as Division One which is the alternative. Unlike Manwell Pablo I believe that you wont cower away from providing your top two tips based on the knowledge you have and the very strong opinions you have expressed on previous managers. Its your time to shine and I am looking forward to your tips when you next post. COME ON YOU MIGHTY FOXES MadMick
Disillusioned Posted 8 March 2006 Posted 8 March 2006 You are a persistent sod Mr Doyle and as you live too far away for me to administer one of my fine good thrashings I will let you into my confidence. Mr Kelly has not, to my knowledge, managed a professional club before so he's an unknown quantity: THERE IS NO TRACK RECORD TO GO ON. He's had an excellent start, 14 points from 7 games is autoprom form (although the fixture list has been kind to us). The question marks against him are these: 1) How will he cope against the better teams (particularly away from home)? 2) Will he be capable of hauling the team out of a slump? 3) How would he handle pressure from the fans and from his players? 4) Who will he bring in in the summer? 5) Who will he lose over the summer (I'm not as sanguine as some about losing Joey) So far Kelly has kept the post Levein euphoria going. In fact he's probably extended it, because I was not anticipating a home win against Hull after the defeat to Ipswich. The stats suggest that on the balance of probabilities teams usually enjoy short term success after sacking a manager before nose diving. So if we carry on as we are Kelly will really be defying the stats. There again we don't exactly know how bad Levein was. It is possible, just possible, that this team's natural Championship berth could be just outside a play-off spot (assuming that Kelly took over at the beginning of the season)? So time for a prediction or two. A respectable lower half of the table finish this season will keep me happy. If Kelly stays on in the close season and acquires two or three half decent players, barring acts of God I see a top half finish or better next season. Whilst there are one or two characters out there I suspect might deliver a good finish next season (Martin Allen being the most obvious candidate and Steve Walsh a less obvious one) I wouldn't have put money on any to have achieved what Kelly has done thus far. The fact that he was an insider whom the players liked counts for at least 50% of his accomplishment. So if Kelly wants the job I'm happy to back him against all comers. Now play your didgeridoo, put up a shark net or go walkabout - whatever you Strines do to compensate for the footie deficit...
