City's under 18s continued their incredible winning streak with a comfortable 4-0 victory over Norwich City at the Belvoir Drive training ground.

Full back Joe Mattock was the first to test the Norwich goalkeeper, hitting s firm shot from 20 yards in the tenth minute.

A minute later, Alex Cisak had to make a smart save to keep the score level. The City 'keeper starting another solid performance as he saw off all the visitors' efforts to keep the Foxes' sixth clean sheet in seven games.

England youth international Ashley Chambers (pictured above right) got City off the mark on 25 minutes, taking advantage of a loose ball in the Canaries' box.

Immediately after the break, Chambers hit on the counter and could have doubled his tally, but was twice denied by the Norwich goalkeeper.

It was Eric Odihambo's turn to force a diving stop after he was played in by the again impressive Max Gradel just before the hour. Then Odihambo turned provider as Kraig Rochester put Leicester two up, the substitute scoring only four minutes after taking the field.

It took Billy McKay a little longer to find the target, his header from a fine Mattock cross making it 3-0 six minutes after he had replaced Gradel.

Tommy Tejan-Sie wrapped up the match with a goal in added time to cap the Academy side's sixth straight win.

CITY: Cisak, Smedley, Mattock, Wykes, Lycett (Magunda 36), Franklin, Gradel (McKay 81), King, Odihambo, Chambers (Rochester 66), Tejan-Sie

Subs (not used): Dodds, Beswick

Thats 6 straight wins now, and just 1 goal conceded in that time, well done to them. With a win today we should hopefully be seeing a few of these players given chances in the first team as we get towards the end of the season :D

Excellent to see, let's hope the club decide to keep loads of them on for the next few years, what is there to loose? we aren't exactly going to be spending loads of money on transfers in years to come.
