West Brom fans have got the same opinions on Megson as we have on Adams and I think you will find every club will have opinions similar to this about their managers. Unless your constantly achieving there's going to be criticism and abuse from the fans mainly because most fans don't dig deep enough to see the reasons of why the team in question aren't achieveing. Adams saved us, we could of slumped when we were in admin and who know's where we would be now, the money from the premiership has stablised us immensly. But that doesn't mean you've got a job for life and Adams became stale and was a hinderance to our team in the end. The same has happened with Megson, he's done well at West Brom really well infact. Whatever his weaknesses are he's still done what many other managers haven't done, some of them have been linked to this club. If megson is appointed then i'll be right behind him, he's not my first choice but i'm a football fan and not involved in the game so I probably don't know what i'm talking about anyway.

Martin O'Neill wasn't my first choice either and he was the business, the more I type about Megson the more I could accept him as the boss. Aslong as he can re-build this team and not look for short term fixes and look to bring the youth through and tighten up the defence then i'm up for it. His style of play worries me, but in different circumstances with different players it might be nothing like what's been played at West Brom. I struggle to accept that players would take orders from managers to go from passing to hoofing like that, the players have the ball not the manager.

He only plays defensive unattractive football, bacause west-Brom awere mostly in the Division one/Championship. This is the best way to get out of the division. But people must not expect instant succes, he will want to build a team, therefore i think next year could be the time when we can really push on. I fell Megson will decide which playes want to do well for this club, the one's that are not trying will be shipped out, also the ones that are no longer needed. E.G. Dublin, Blake, Wilcox (contract terminated). He will also bring on some of the youngsters, I can see us sorting out our defensive problem, and having a settled team soon, unlike adams. I know the defenseve will be settle so one "main" defender will be dissapointed, I think it will be Dabizaz or Elliot.

I want Megson in charge, He has probabaly learned more and more about the premier league, Don't forget it was just one bad result in the prmier league for them, They has many a draw. It was a bit like the adams situation in the premier league, too many draws. I can imagine Megson and Adams swapping places, to be honest. And both managers doing well at their new clubs.

He has a good record, people can't deny that. He has turned west brom into an average Division one side into a yoy club that are currently outside of the relegation places in the Premiership!

He is a certainly a better candidate than anybody else we have a realstic chance of getting.

I do however worry that he is a defensive manager and that watching cautious football is not always entertaining.
