Babylon Posted 20 July 2004 Posted 20 July 2004 Ok so we have signed a few old players, but at the moment the squad is starting to look very strong. Sign Makin and a couple of central midfielders and we should be set for the season!! To me the squad is starting to look better than the promotion campaign!! AV IT!!!!!!!! ::
Ash Posted 20 July 2004 Posted 20 July 2004 Yer i think MA still wants to bring in a few more players aswell
gagandeep Posted 20 July 2004 Posted 20 July 2004 Yer i think MA still wants to bring in a few more players aswell mad biker, says a few more are expected!
87fox Posted 20 July 2004 Posted 20 July 2004 Indeed; I think it needs a bit of meat on the bones now
Ricey Posted 20 July 2004 Posted 20 July 2004 I have been delighted with the signings so far and the squad is looking very strong indeed. Can't wait for the season to start!
Scow Posted 20 July 2004 Posted 20 July 2004 We still need at least 3 players - A right back, A defensive midfielder, and possibly a right winger. Although from what I hear, Gillespie is doing ok in pre-season.
Tomassi Posted 21 July 2004 Posted 21 July 2004 :: we are gonna win the league that ouom is a right back that okoronkwo cud be a defensive midfielder and gillespie cud be ok for division 1 :: :w00t:
gagandeep Posted 21 July 2004 Posted 21 July 2004 :: we are gonna win the league that ouom is a right back that okoronkwo cud be a defensive midfielder and gillespie cud be ok for division 1 :: :w00t: gillespie will be class trust me, hes only on a free transfer cos we cant afford his wages in this division, and he also has a realease clause i bet. he said he want to try hard, and he supposedly played well good against the dons. isaac okoronkwo is good. and i've heard ouom was amazing at right-back yesterday, all these players aernt too old i think. and if we do get promoted they can all do well in the top league, especially gillespie if he gets the confidence.
alex Posted 21 July 2004 Posted 21 July 2004 I am so happy at the moment, that I would consider cupping Malf's balls.
discojoe Posted 21 July 2004 Posted 21 July 2004 would kinsella be that bad an option or maybe resorting to tiatto in the middle?
Scow Posted 21 July 2004 Posted 21 July 2004 would kinsella be that bad an option or maybe resorting to tiatto in the middle? I would have kept McKinlay instead of getting someone like Kinsella.
Scow Posted 21 July 2004 Posted 21 July 2004 i suppose but apart fr4om kinsella who is there? Tiatto could do a job there, but I really don't think Kinsella is the answer. I'm sure Micky could get in someone better than that - But please, not David Batty!
bren Posted 21 July 2004 Posted 21 July 2004 Scowy you know if we do get a defensive midfielder, it will be an old player and very likely to be batty
