davieG Posted 29 October 2004 Posted 29 October 2004 Hearts fan, how's Levein when it comes to motivating during the game? Is he on the touchline giving out orders or does he stand back? Adams always stood back and rarely got involved, something that pissed me off immensely 30995 Surely the important thing is that he reacts to what is happening on the pitch whether he does that by jumping up and down like demented frog or by having a quiet word in someones ear doesn't matter as long as he gets it right.
Gala Foxes Posted 29 October 2004 Posted 29 October 2004 AS a Hibs supporting City fan who watched Levein's last match in charge of Hearts (sadly beating Hibs 2-1) I have to say I think he will be a good appointment. I watched him play for The Jambo's many times against Hibs - classy central defender/sweeper and have seen him take Hearts into Europe the last couple of years doing well against Bordeaux and Braga. He has spotted some good players - Ricardo Fuller (at Portsmouth) and Mark De Vries (still at Hearts) A safe pair of hands that can gel a team together to play as a team - he talks sense in interviews and doesnt bullshit

Proud_Jambo Posted 29 October 2004 Posted 29 October 2004 You have no worries with Big Craig being a soft touch. A few weeks ago we lost 2 0 to Motherwell and he punched the wall and dislocated a finger. When he was a player a few years back he punched a team mate in a pre season friendly. This happened while he was club captain. He has also been inolved in a dispute with the SFA over referees. Most Hearts supporters are wishing him well. He's a good guy with a strong character. Enjoy him while he's with you cos he's destined for bigger things.

When he was a player a few years back he punched a team mate in a pre season friendly. That sounds good, we've been lacking that kind of motivation recently!

Anish Posted 30 October 2004 Posted 30 October 2004 Sounds great! I'm hoping he'll be punching Dion and Nathan Blake soon, and stop them from playing or starting every game
Carlo Posted 30 October 2004 Author Posted 30 October 2004 I wonder what he thought on todays game???
Louise Posted 30 October 2004 Posted 30 October 2004 I wonder what he thought on todays game??? 31664 Well, he left early, that probably says it all.
goodlongfox Posted 31 October 2004 Posted 31 October 2004 The books open and not been blotted or bad marked yet so get behind him if we land him...Start with a clean slate Back him 100% and lets see where it goes 30512 IF he gets the job!!!! 30556 That question has now been answered so I would expect you and everyone else who supports Leicester City to get fully behind him and give him your support.
