Newcastle_Fox Posted 18 April 2006 Share Posted 18 April 2006 Anybody going to this or thinking of going. I am thinking of going with my mates, is an awesome lineup and some people I really wanna see. A bit expensive but take ur own crates and alcohol and it should be a £200 weekend and a mad session seeing some awesome DJs. www.globalgathering.co.uk A huge number of DJs and dance music acts will play at Godskitchen’s Global Gathering this year. Nearly every major A-list DJ and tens of up and coming spinners are booked to play at the event, which runs from Friday 28 to Saturday 29 July. Following the success of last year’s camp site, Godskitchen are offering weekend tickets to their festival (including a space to pitch up your tent) for £105. The price may be high, but with a line-up that includes Fatboy Slim, Daft Punk, Groove Armada, Paul Oakenfold, Tiesto, Paul van Dyk (winner of DJmag’s Top 100 DJs poll 2005), Carl Cox, and Sasha, tickets were never going to be cheap. Godskitchen’s Global Gathering takes place, as always, at Long Marston Airfield (near Stratford-upon-Avon). Newcastle_Fox Posted 18 April 2006 Author Share Posted 18 April 2006 That price includes camping aswell, Leeds festival is £125.00 - £135.00 for the weekend though that is a 4 day weekend from fri-mon but all weekend tickets are sold out. The only tickets available at Leeds are day tickets without camping at £60. I really wanna get abroad this year for a lads holiday, so debating whether i can afford the two. Think it may have to go on the credit card, too good an event to miss . Can remember the line up being as good last year, so it may be the same next year. But its definately a good event to go to this year! Think I shall be there!

Matt Posted 22 July 2006 Share Posted 22 July 2006 My work mate went last year, they sent him a e-mail the other week saying "Your tickets will arrive in the next few days" and he hadn't even ordered any for this year. He was well happy, he got an e-mail a few days later saying "Sorry we made a mistake" e.t.c
