Today I was to take another test it was my end of year Level 2 test to complete, I had been given weeks of notice, I had to revise from my assignments I had done, I was shocked college had arranged an exam correctly for once. ...Until it came to actual exam I got there, sat down at the computer and started the exam, Bearing in mind I am training to become a bench joiner, I had loads of questions about Flooring, roofing, Roof trusses/rafters, e.t.c I guessed my way through them thinking "Why am I being asked these questions? There Site Carpenter/Site Joiner questions" I come out of the exam go to the canteen to meet my mate said(He's training to be a site carpenter) "I had a load of questions about joinery and stairs, e.t.c"... College, Cheers for cocking both our exams up...Now both of us (+ A few other people on my course) now have to retake the exam doing the right tests And the college are wondering why I am taking my time about considering continuing onto Level 3... P.S...I passed the Site Carpenter test, and my mate passed the Joinery test, but its not the point, I now have to take another bastard exam...3 Cock-ups on 3 seperate occasions thanks to college Today I had the retake, I got in the exam sat down at the PC, and What was on the screen "Carpentry and Joinery" I put my hand up said this is the wrong test, Examiner women said "Just carry on with it" so I did...It was the same test I did on Febuary 7th! I again passed it and got back to my tutor and said "Wake up when you put me in for the next test" he said "Why?" I then went mad at my tutor and he just smiled! Why the fuk do I bother? Why should I put the effort in when college fuk everything I do up?! College are on my back saying "Are you going on the Level 3?" and they wonder why i'm not giving them an answer...

Oh yeah got nothing against the job/career, and I know I need the qualification...at the same time college just messes with my head I could leave college in the summer and be classed as qualified I could even go self employed in the summer if I want (Something i'm not gonna do) but i'm unsure on whether to stay on at college or not and do Level 3. The only reason i'm at college is for a piece of paper. I just can't believe what a joke my college is though this is 3 or 4 test's college has focked up now, and i'm considering a) Quiting college and going back later in my career b) Transfering to a different college or c) Sticking at my current college and seeing how it goes. I am one of not many probably staying on to do Level 3 and my college is so thick not too notice or realise why people are not staying at college...

As written in my last post I have/am considering a transfer probably either to Leicester (Best one in the area) or Coventry (Heard nothing about Cov college) but Level 3 in most colleges are booked up years in advance apprently (Apart from my college...Wonder why?) According to people who have been other colleges, The college I go to has a bad reputation anyway...and it deserves it!
