IDEA OR IKEA Posted 27 April 2006 Posted 27 April 2006 Heard it on the sunday league grapevine that last night your game (west end vs toyoda gosei???) was a sham and that some players from other teams went to mix it up - is it true!
Sparky Posted 27 April 2006 Posted 27 April 2006 harvey dont post on here just me . beaver lads were on the touchline mouthing off , toyodas fans were a fecking discrace , our linesman was abused like fock. thier fat 4 at the back had a right gob on him , unlike anything u have heard before. moan moan moan the ref told our keeper he was shit resulting in our keeper telling him to fock off and getting sent off . the fosse lads will tell you were a decent set of lads and to have to face that was a bit daft. like playing galatasaray

I thought you and the Beaver lads were mates - the guy who told me what happened said they had only come along to cause trouble and stir it up and just disgraced themselves. I wont go into the words he used but he said that it looked like they had planned it to cost you the games in hand or something!!

Random Burglar Posted 27 April 2006 Posted 27 April 2006 West End guys are a good bunch of lads!!! Enjoyed some good football against them!! On the other hand against Toyoda and Hat and Beaver we did have a few probs on and off the pitch but not quite to the extent that you did Sparky!!

I know what you mean though in a way - i must admit sometimes it does not seem worth it for the hassle particulary when you get games like you did last night. Thats what you get at this level though!

I am not sure about next season yet - but will play for a different team if i do. Bit sick of the traveling to home games as i live in Leicester (got roped in mate of a mate thing!) So if you or fosse are having trials pre-season might pop along!

Cat Burger Posted 27 April 2006 Posted 27 April 2006 There's definitley something not right about Toyoda's upturn in form, West End are definitley a better side at full strength, I couldn't believe that score line. Our match on Sunday could be make or break! I don't really want to be in Div 5 again next season.

The best way to get into contact with other teams is through the Alliance league website here Alliance League There is a list on contact numbers etc under the teams section. Best bet is to leave it for a month. The season is just winding down now with only 1 game to go and then teams wont be thinking about pre-season or taking on players for a little while!!

Tomassi Posted 27 April 2006 Posted 27 April 2006 there may be a few neat acquisitions at the fosse in the summer including perhaps a new boss or assistant all fosse lack is strength in depth and the team spirit needs to come back with training which we havnt had since october.
