Lost 19-1 today, partly because our goalie screamed "OH SHIT THEY'RE GONNA SHOOT, I'M GOING TO DIE" then jumped on the floor with his hands on his head... willy puller. Me and my team are wank, to start with most of us don't know each others names... We tend to lose the ball extremely quickly... we canny do it, TIPS PLEEEASE?
Random Burglar Posted 27 April 2006 Posted 27 April 2006 Pass and move thats all you have to remember when you have the ball!! Shoot at every opportunity!! (Nothing stupid though) Without the ball you have got to be prepared to do some work, get men behind the ball and make sure the opposition are marked closely...dont give them an inch of space...help each other out...if your goalkeeper see's someone unmarked get him to shout till he is marked. Be flexible..dont have positions as such...but dont be too flexible and try to keep a covering defender when going forward... Golden rule is dont be afraid to get stuck in...make tackles and work your backsides off to get the ball back when you havnt got possession Most of all enjoy it!!

Get 6 players who you can guarantee will turn up every week - our problem is we have 8 of us but some are especially unreliable so some weeks we have 5 (or even 4) and some weeks we have 8. It's all about getting a settled side.
Tomassi Posted 29 April 2006 Posted 29 April 2006 yeah our teams doing well now with the change of tactics. you gotta play to enjoy though rob is correct, its all about pass and go, with good movement off the ball and keeping men behind the ball to stop the opposition getting a good look in. not letting into any more secrets tho...
