Chairman of the Bored Posted 18 May 2006 Posted 18 May 2006 It's big, it's brilliant. Moved on a bit since they supported Ash at Leicester Uni.
Daggers Posted 20 May 2006 Posted 20 May 2006 Listened to it yesterday and I can't help wanting to shake them and shout "Life isn't that bad, snap out of it!" It reminds me of the kind of music that they used to play on the radio after midnight to encourage lorry drivers to nod off and plough into central reservations. Maybe if they introduced a Chaz'n'Dave style piano for the third album it might cheer them up a bit?

billabob Posted 29 May 2006 Posted 29 May 2006 Its an awsome album, its on right now, althoguh i think "hands open"m "its beggining to get to me" and also "set fire to the third bar" are the best songs
Ajax Treesdown Posted 29 May 2006 Posted 29 May 2006 Final Straw is better and there other two albums are more raw and uplifting. Some people don't realise this is there 4th album!
Chairman of the Bored Posted 1 June 2006 Posted 1 June 2006 Some people don't realise this is there 4th album! I do! I've got them all. Saw them live twice before they hit the 'big time'. Have they hit the big time? Not sure what constitutes big these days.
