Cobbo Posted 4 November 2004 Posted 4 November 2004 Search on google for AVG Anti Virus download. Or something like that. AVG is a very good anti virus program, got rid of some viruses that Nortan couldn't remove on my PC. Try to get that.
Guest Daniel Posted 4 November 2004 Posted 4 November 2004 AVG is very good, but will not remove this homepage. I had to format my c:drive to get rid of that mate.
drew Posted 4 November 2004 Posted 4 November 2004 Sounds like a homepage hijacker. Try cwshredder, if not find out the name of the page and do a search on google, plenty of removal tools on there.

Check your registry (if you know what you are doing ) or use another browser.
City Fan Posted 4 November 2004 Posted 4 November 2004 Definately AVG for virus checker. But I found that if something intercepts the browser, its usually spyware, so download Spybot and run it - it should delete it. If not, try a different browser - Mozilla Firefox is pretty good!
Steven Posted 4 November 2004 Posted 4 November 2004 Mozilla Firefox is the way forward. 33461[/snapback] Tried Mozilla before and it is good. Had a look at Firefox and I would give it a go.

BMR Posted 5 November 2004 Posted 5 November 2004 If your still having problems, download Hijack This and post the log here and I'll sort it for you. You are better off with FireFox , it wont get hijacked.
