Saudi Arabia vs Ukraine

Pro "Saudia-Arabia Out Of The WC Forever Campaign".

These guys make it to the tournament in regular intervals, but only because their qualifying group's always a joke...

Too weak, no proven goalscorer, bad goalkeepers.

They'd better replace it with another team from America, the Caribbean, Africa or Asia. At least those guys can play football.

Didn't seem to bother you when your lot were beating Togo.

You make a good point though, Saudi Arabia do seem to be rubbish.

FIFA could just come up with a world ranking system which isn't a complete joke and take the top 32.

Did it bother you when playing T & T?:whistle:

Concerning the debate surrounding the FIFA Ranking system, take a look at this:

2. Czech Republic

5. USA

8. France

11. Nigeria :o

17. Egypt

18. Japan

23. Iran

Now take a look at the calculator for those rankings and decide for yourself whether it's a fair game or not.

Bottom line is that wins count the most, but in uneven qualifying groups, the chance of winning increases dramatically. Especially in Asia, North America, Oceania and Africa, there's a huge difference in skill, experience and power from country to country. That's why it's very often the same teams making it to a WC.

An A-level maths student could come up with a better calculation to determine the best teams in the world.

There's one word for it corrupt!

In this day and age I dont know why we don't just stick all the teams in the hat and the 32 teams that top the 32 groups qualify.

So what if it's full of European teams at least the best teams in the world would be there!

I wasn't whinging though, was I?

Whether you agree with the groups and the general system or not, all the teams there are there on merit.
