Benji Posted 13 November 2004 Posted 13 November 2004 He really has come alive, so far he's taken his chance of first team very well and deserves to be there he's the sort of sound player that you don't notice anything spectacular about his performance but it's complete, he wins headers, comes forward, send balls forward, and can tackle well to be honest i wasn't quite sure about him when he first played he seemed a bit of a cart-horse but i've been very impressed recently, sound performances hopefully morris can start on the right wing and work off of his forward passes as there will be hardly any defenders in the league that will keep up with his pace I would actually prefer morris upfront with connolly but then you'd loose height completely and i think that just won't work, but still the younger players are really impressing me at the moment: stewart, heath, canero (he's young isnt he? ) and morris

Lets get some movement up front at least. Morris' ball control isnt the greatest i have to say though.

Anish Posted 14 November 2004 Posted 14 November 2004 I have been impressed by Canero too - he can actually play with the ball and pass it around. He is comfortable with the ball unlike Makin and he supports the attackers well. As for Morris, I would play him up front with Scowy, and drop Connolly. Connolly might work hard, but his finishing is woeful. He should have scored twice near the end of the 2nd half (the one which he hit the bar and was given offside, and the one where he was 1v1 and tried to take the goalie on when he should have lofted it over the gk).

At 23 aswell we have got a quality player on our hands and if he can stay injury free I definately think he's a player who can hold is own in the premiership. Only 10 more to find then
Guest Posted 15 November 2004 Posted 15 November 2004 This run he's getting in the side will only improve his game. So far, he's looked quite good, and hope as his fitness improves we see more from him.
