davieG Posted 13 November 2004 Posted 13 November 2004 New Goalie (I know, I know vitriol or not he looked well dodgy today even before the goal) Canero Keown Heath Stewart Gillespie Nalis Tiatto Morris Connolly Scowcroft Gudjonsson & Dabizas along with Pressman lost us the game today through the worst display of passing todate. I know it was apretty poor performance all a round but these three made it worse.
Benji Posted 13 November 2004 Posted 13 November 2004 i thought joey did ok made some good forward runs which were not matched by a decent over the top ball for him i'd agree with the defence and the attack but would personally like midfield to be: morris------nalis-------joey (although if williams gets fit then him)------tiatto

Anish Posted 14 November 2004 Posted 14 November 2004 My team would be: New Goalie!! Makin Keown Heath Stewart Tiatto Gudjonsson Nalis Canero Morris Scowy
City Fan Posted 14 November 2004 Posted 14 November 2004 -------------------------New Goalie Makin---------Heath------------------Dabizas--------Tiatto -------Canero------------Nalis---------------Stewart -------------------------Scowcroft -------------Connolly---------------Morris/New Striker Connolly does need a decent strike partner with him, and I think if Scowy was behind the front two, he could flick balls onto them.
Ash Posted 14 November 2004 Posted 14 November 2004 Pressman Makin Heath Dabizas Stewart Canero Nalis Williams Tiatto Scowcroft Connolly
Hoof Fox Posted 14 November 2004 Posted 14 November 2004 New Keeper Canero Heath Keown Stewart Nalis Williams Tiatto Morris Connolly Scowcroft
Teeno Posted 14 November 2004 Posted 14 November 2004 ----------Pressman/new keeper Canero--Keown--Heath--Tiatto Morris--Nalis--Joey--Stewart--- -------Scowcroft--Connolly----- Similar side to the last 3 games, I think Morris and Keown will more than likely be certain changes and if we do get a new keeper then he'll probaby play.
Scow Posted 14 November 2004 Posted 14 November 2004 New Goalie Makin / Keown / Heath / Stewart Canero / Nalis / Tiatto / Morris Connolly / Scowcroft
Mark Posted 14 November 2004 Posted 14 November 2004 Why does everyone want Makin back in? Especially against Wigan Canero and Gillespie/Morris so much better. Not brilliant but it'll do for now.
Scow Posted 14 November 2004 Posted 14 November 2004 Because Gillespie doesn't seem capable of putting in decent service. He'll most likely stick with Canero and Gillespie, but playing Makin right back would allow Canero to play in a position which is more suited to his abilities, getting forward and putting crosses in, although Canero's crossing hasn't been great either.
Anish Posted 14 November 2004 Posted 14 November 2004 Makin is the only way that Gillespie will be dropped - I have been a strong critic of Makin in the last few weeks but after Gillespie's 2nd half performance v Sunderland he has to dropped. There is nobody else that can play right mid other than Canero, so Makin has to fill in at right back
