Deathside Posted 16 July 2006 Posted 16 July 2006 Walking back to my hotel last night following the path of the Singapore river - I walked through a section of nightclubs just around the time that some of them were closing Most people go off down the main road and suddenly it's just me and this hot (white) chick walking along the riverside Anyway I ask her where she is from (there are a lot of americans, australians & europeans around the nightclubs area) - She says UK - I'm surprised because she sounds Australian! We talk a bit more I find out that her name is Danielle and is from Wimbledon and she moved to Singapore just after the London bombs last year Then she asks where I'm from - When I say Leicester she's like WOW - I lived in Leicester for 6 years (and only lived in Wimbledon for 1 year) I ask what part of Leicester and she says Glenfield - I'm blown away - considering that I live in Anstey (when I'm in the UK) Aroundabout then we reached the road she lives on so we said goodbye
