Craig Posted 23 November 2004 Author Posted 23 November 2004 I emailed him, he'd given me his mobile number and told me to give him call to arrange a meeting, or just voice my opinions, he'll listen to anything i've got to say on the groundshare matter. And he saysthat it is not set in stone yet.
Ash Posted 23 November 2004 Posted 23 November 2004 Ring him , tell him you will meet him with a few of us On Saturday before the game !
Guest Daniel Posted 23 November 2004 Posted 23 November 2004 Tell him he's a willy puller from me. Simple and easy, thanks alot mate.
Oli Posted 23 November 2004 Posted 23 November 2004 Tell him to look on http://www.foxestalk.co.uk and he will se what the fans want!
Guest Posted 23 November 2004 Posted 23 November 2004 I have lots of questions. Where is the money coming from to fund this? Why have the Tigers decided now to groundshare? What are the chances of the RFU using the WS for internationals, or even World Cup games? If we need to increase capacity, will the Tigers be happy to pay for this? I will post more as and when.
Craig Posted 23 November 2004 Author Posted 23 November 2004 Ok cheers Leesah Deadline is 1pm tomorrow. I'll write down all sensible questions and ill give you the answers as and when i get them
Guest Daniel Posted 23 November 2004 Posted 23 November 2004 1. Do you really feel that fans will like the idea? 2. Will the stadium be re-named? 3. How many options have you got for the surface so it doesnt get ruined? Thanks mate.
Ash Posted 23 November 2004 Posted 23 November 2004 1. Are you a Leicester City fan ? So why are you letting this happen ? 2. Is this club just a business now ?
Wilson Posted 23 November 2004 Posted 23 November 2004 1.Why were the fans not asked about this before the club decided to hold a press conference to announce it? After all they let the fans decide whether or not the club should keep the same name. 2. The ticket office at the minute is stretched to the limit so will the Tigers have their own ticket office or will they be sharing with ours?

Thanks mate. 39337 I honestly don't think Davies is to blame for this, he's merely Mace's puppet for the press conferences. Mace is the man to blame IMO. Davies has always done what he feels best for the club, and i'm sure he isn't about to change now I like the first 3 questions though, and they will get asked
Hullfox Posted 23 November 2004 Posted 23 November 2004 Hope he doesn't ask you about our poll. Out of 32 people who voted, 19 say that they don't want it. I reckon he'll see that as a success because he hasn't even given us the case for yet.
shen Posted 23 November 2004 Posted 23 November 2004 What financial benefits will LCFC get from this agreement? What are potential repercussions of this agreement? (As mentioned above) Why weren't the fans being kept up to date with the negotiations? Why the secrecy?
Eastern Fox Posted 23 November 2004 Posted 23 November 2004 •What do you mean by "develop, strengthen and cement the stadium as a centre of sporting excellence"? Be specific. •What do you mean by "Substantial investments will be made in new pitch technology"? An artifical surface? •Will opposition by the majority of City and Tigers fans make any difference to your decison? •"Under the terms of a proposed agreement, City and Tigers will each have a 50 per cent share in a new company set up to own and operate the stadium." Why should the Tigers have a 50% share? LCFC paid for the building/development of the stadium and suffered the consquences of adminstration/having no money etc.

All shareholders were notified by letter this morning. Currently the plan is for 2 separate ticket offices, but that is detail to be discussed further

Thanks mate. 39337 - The club expected a mixed reaction - The stadium will not be renamed, however the Trust feels that Walkers should pay additional sponsorship money given the increased exposure they would receive if the venture goes ahead. - They are looking at the surface used at Arsenal among others
Steven Posted 24 November 2004 Posted 24 November 2004 Can we have a set of fully costed figures showing the financial benefits that will accrue.
Scarby Posted 24 November 2004 Posted 24 November 2004 Tell him Scarby thinks its a great idea! and not everyone is against it!
Vocal-Legend!! Posted 24 November 2004 Posted 24 November 2004 http://www.petitiononline.com/WSKS2004/petition.html tell him to look at these people who have signed the petition. a mixed bag of tigers and city who DO NOT want this.
kerryh Posted 24 November 2004 Posted 24 November 2004 I have just read the foxes trust comments saying the club expected a mixed reaction. From the the feedback the FT have received/monitored is it mixed or are the fans heavily opposed?

kerryh Posted 24 November 2004 Posted 24 November 2004 I have - and it's very impressive but it's a petition for those against the merger. The Trust person mentioned the club expected to receive a mixed reaction (I don't believe it will be mixed!), I wondered how many people the trust/club have received a positive response from.
