We had talked to the club about swapping the Kop & the Family Enclosure over a year ago as a way to improve the atmosphere. Certainly moving the away fans is a no-no.

It was bounced on the basis it would disrupt too many existing season ticket holders.

However if changes are to be made, then now is the time to get them.

Safe standing wise - this would put up the cost of the ground sharing & isn't currently planned. However it would pacify several thousand Tigers fans & they would be able to use them now.

We wouldn't be able to without a shift in the thinking politically, however we would be the obvious stadium to run a trial if they were already installed for rugby

What financial benefits will we get from this agreement?

ALL of the money saved shall go into Craig Levein’s transfer budget.

What does a City fan get out of this? Are you guaranteeing that we'll get into the Premiership sooner if this takes place?; will ticket prices come down?; will you offer reduced tickets to ST holders that will want to move when their part of the ground is changed?

The chances of success are enhanced significantly because of the money saved and put into Craig Leveins transfer kitty.

1) Tim has also said to the press that no money will be liberated for funds for CL in the near future. The question here is WHEN he will get any money. Who cares if it's in 3 years? We need it now so that we can push on for promotion!

2) What money are we saving? Is it the money that we owe Teachers? And how much is this?

It is, he mentioned a figure, but i cant remember, he said it wasn't accurate anyway. Something like £16m will be halved to £8m.

Can't see the deal being finalised for several months yet, a lot of work ahead. Money for next season yes, but not this.

The club will not provide this detail at this time, if at all. For starters they have to put together the deal with Teachers first, until that is done there can't be any actual answers.

Lisa agrees with FT shock!!!

Swapping the Kop and Family Stands HAS been talked about in the past, it has been mentioned in the Fans Forum, and at the Premier League forum meeting all those who sat in the North Stand hated it there because of the away supporters.

A lot of clubs put their family stands next to away fans, possibly because the envisage less trouble, and I suspect that they expect away supporters to moderate their behaviour at the sight of small kids nearby.

As for standing, I would love to see it back, but it won't ever happen. It's now a political issue, and police advisors and safety groups see the benefit having supporters in seats as a bonus.

Well done Craig! I think there needs to be a big thankyou to Craig for asking the questions and myself for providing the best question regarding the acoustics in the ground. ;)

Let's hope something get's sorted as the kop needs moving in my opinion.

My strong hate for Rugby.

Dont want half the staidum green when its our home.

It isnt normal to share stadiums with another sport, they dont want it either.

1) Nobody is asking you to go and watch it.

2) Filbert Street had seats that were Blue, Orange, Grey and Red.

3) It is more normal now than it was 10 years ago due to financial considerations and not all Tigers fans are opposed.
