Head Honcho Posted 9 August 2006 Posted 9 August 2006 Errr no Rob Gareth has been struggling for about 2 years now
Katy Posted 9 August 2006 Posted 9 August 2006 I dunno, I thought he looked half decent in the first 20 mins
breadandcheese Posted 9 August 2006 Posted 9 August 2006 I dunno, I thought he looked half decent in the first 20 mins I agree, he was the only one who wanted to keep the ball moving and tried to up the tempo. I thought Johnson was the weak link.
Head Honcho Posted 9 August 2006 Author Posted 9 August 2006 I dunno, I thought he looked half decent in the first 20 mins Sorry Kayteh I apologise. Apart from the 1st 20 mins against Burnley he's been struggling for 2 years
Janx Posted 9 August 2006 Posted 9 August 2006 hes a champagne charlie... an "elegant player" apparantly, who is a bit of a luxury item and not a workhorse/midfield engine!
Foxing_Around Posted 9 August 2006 Posted 9 August 2006 I dunno, I thought he looked half decent in the first 20 mins I agree, and I thought he was far better that Hughes.
holly Posted 9 August 2006 Posted 9 August 2006 yeh he started alright, as did majority of the team! trouble with williams is he trys to be clever and it doesnt work
Guest Gist Posted 9 August 2006 Posted 9 August 2006 I thought Williams wasn't so bad yesterday he did try to get things moving he did some good passes and he did seem to get more involved although he could still do with a kick up the arse!
eaststandtom Posted 9 August 2006 Posted 9 August 2006 Williams need to have a player along side him to kick him up the arse. Andy Johnson is the 'Ashley Ward' of midfielders. Williams,Hughes, fryatt and Huime are our best footballersand should be in the team playing together. This way they'll get the best out of eachother like they showed at end of last season. so clear
Ricey Posted 9 August 2006 Posted 9 August 2006 He played a few nice balls but don't be fooled by that. The rest of the game he strolled around never wanting the ball and it was his stupidity that gave Burnley the free-kick they scored from.
Simi Posted 9 August 2006 Posted 9 August 2006 I dunno, I thought he looked half decent in the first 20 mins i agree aswell made some good one touch passes linking up the midfield to the attack.but once the ball got to hume and fryatt there was nowhere for them to go because a lack of support from the midfield because maybury and tiatto dont no how to play on the wing.
